Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey to join Juventus?

Published on: 25 June 2021

After a difficult season for Ghana international Thomas Partey, could he be on his way to Italy to sign for Juventus?

This is a question being asked on various transfer speculation chatrooms in Europe.

Thomas Partey, 27, joined Arsenal on the transfer deadline day of the 2020 summer transfer window after the English Premier League outfit paid his release clause of 45 million pounds.

As a result of several injury setbacks in the debut season, Thomas Partey could not have his best season.

He missed a number of games and could not impress in several games when he played as a half-fit midfielder.

At the end of a campaign where the Black Stars talisman has promised to come good next season for the Gunners, his future at the Emirates appears unclear.

According to information gathered from the English press, Arsenal have been impressed with the performance of former midfielder Aaron Ramsey and is considering a move to re-sign him.

Not ready to pay in cash, the club wants to do a swap that will see Thomas Partey going to Turin instead.

Although this is not coming from official sources, it remains a big topic in several of the transfer room chartrooms.
