The 2016/2017 season of the Ghana Premier League is set to begin on February 4th, 2017 after an extra-ordinary Ghana Football Association congress revealed it on Wednesday.
The League which was previously agreed to kick off in December last year, has now been confirmed to kick start right at the depth of the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to end on February 5th.
In an extra ordinary congress that was held at the Alisa Hotel, President of the Football Association revealed the said date for the league to kick off.
Teams have been redundant and recently begun camping after the league ended three months ago.
