Acquah has become a pivotal player for the Timber giants since joining the club in the summer of 2022.

The highly-rated defender joined Samartex from second-tier side Skyy FC after explosive displays in the lower-tier, winning seven Man of the Match awards.

The 24-year-old has been a standout for Samartex, making 28 appearances in the Ghana Premier League so far.

His impressive performance has propelled the Timber giants to the top of the league table with four games to end the campaign.

Acquah’s impressive performance has caught the attention of several clubs including Asante Kotoko.

Per reports, the Porcupine Warriors are poised to secure the services of the defender ahead of the 2024/25 football season as they aim to make a meaningful impact next season.

With four games to end the campaign, the Timber giants find themselves on top of the domestic top-flight standings with 55 points.

However, with a little push Samartex can annex the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the campaign.
