Ghana Premier League is getting better - Gold Stars coach Michael Osei

Bibiani Gold Stars head coach, Michael Osei says the Ghana Premier League is on ascendency judging from their game against Hearts of Oak.

Gold Stars gave away a goal lead late in the game to draw 1-1 against the Phobians in the matchday 21 games over the weekend at DUN's Park.

With how both teams performed, the former Kotoko gaffer believes the top-flight is growing.

“Hearts of Oak defended very well, there weren’t too many chances to score," he said after the game.

“But all the same it was a very good game, both sides played very well, it was an amazing game.

“You can see the premiership is growing when you see such a game."

He also praised his side for their fighting spirit and reiterated that they will pick all points in their next home game.

“Very impressive but we are disappointed we couldn’t get the three points, that’s disappointing but it has happened.

“We need to learn from the game and then the next game we do better," he added.

The nerve-wracking result leaves Gold Stars in 6th with 31 points from 21 games and will play King Faisal in the matchday 22 games at Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex this weekend.
