Ghana Premier League match week 33 games to kick off at 3pm

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that Premier League match week 33 encounter will commence at 3pm at the various match venues with the exception of Asante Kotoko vs Elmina Sharks.

The Porcupine Warriors clinched their 25th league title following their 1-1 draw against Ashanti Gold last Thursday at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium with three matches left to play.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum's side will be crowned champions of the 2021/22 league season on Sunday June 12, 2022 when they host Elmina Sharks at the Baba Yara stadium.

Officials of the GFA will be at the stadium to present the GPL trophy and medals to the players and technical staff of the club.

The club will also be presented with the prize money for winning the league.

Below is a statement from the GFA:

"All Ghana Premier League Match day 33 games are expected to kick off at 3pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022 except the game the between Asante Kotoko vs Elmina Sharks at the Baba Yara Stadium."

"Asante Kotoko SC will be crowned as winners of the 2021/22 League season after their match against Sharks which will kick off at 6pm.

"The Ghana Football Association has directed all Referees and Match Commissioners to ensure all matches kick off simultaneously at 3:00 pm at various league centres.
