Ghana Premier League Matchday 8 Preview: King Faisal v Great Olympics

Published on: 05 February 2020

Accra Great Olympics look to start life after Prince George Koffie with a victory as they travel to Kumasi to face the struggling King Faisal.

King Faisal are looking for a quick upturn in form as they play hosts to a Great Olympics side who recently lost their head coach.

The two teams will square off for the first time in a decade. King Faisal came out with a slender 1-0 victory when both sides met the last time in Kumasi.

They have failed to win any of their three home fixtures in the league and two of them have been draws.

The Kumasi-based side have scored just three goals at their home ground this season (1 per game) and have allowed 1.33 per game during that period.

The Kumasi-based side have been leaky in defence, conceding 15 goals in seven matches, the highest in the league so far.

Great Olympics have 7 points in the league, which puts them in 14th place.
