The Domestic football governing body (GFA) has announced the return of the Ghana Premier League this weekend following the dismissal of the application for injunction filed by the Ashantigold against the FA.

The domestic top-flight has been on hold for four weeks due to injunction, however, the Executive Council of the FA thought it wise to resume the league with immediate effect to avert further loss of stakeholders.

Meanwhile, the Ghana FA has engaged the 18 Premier League clubs about the resumption of the Ghanaian top-flight this weekend.

The Ghana Premier League enters week four with Berekum Chelsea being on top of the table after three matches.
