Ghana Premier League table ahead of Hearts vs Kotoko

The greatest football match on the local stage takes place on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium between host Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Leaders Accra Hearts of Oak occupy the first spot with 56 points after 30 games. The Phobians have scored 42 goals and conceded 20 with a goal difference of 22. Hearts have lost six games, drawn eight and won 16.

Second place Kumasi Asante also have 56 points after 30 games. The Porcupine Warriors have scored 35 goal and conceded 17 with a goal difference of 18. Kotoko have lost four games, drawn 11 and won 15.

Chasing the two giants in Ghana football is Dreams FC. They have secured 48 points after 30 games, scored 44 goals and conceded 30 with a goal difference of 14. Dreams have lost eight games, drawn nine and won 13.

The Dade boys occupy the fourth position after leading the rest of the teams at some point in the season. Olympics have 48 points after 30 games, scored 33 goals and conceded 28 with a goal difference of five. They have lost ten games, drawn six and won 14.

A win for Hearts or Kotoko in the Super Clash will boost the winner's chance of clinching the title with four games remaining.

The Super Clash on Sunday will be shown live on StarTimes and the GFA issued a statement saying there will be no selling of tickets at the stadium. The police and military will also provide security in and around the stadium.
