Ghana star Mohammed Kudus shines with a brace and assist as Ajax thump Shakhtar Donetsk in preseason friendly

Ghana international Mohammed Kudus produced a masterclass performance to help Ajax beat Shakhtar Donetsk in a preseason friendly.

The Black Stars midfielder started the game but was replaced at half time as Ajax inflicted a 3-0 win over the Ukrainian side on Tuesday.

Kudus opened the floodgate for the Ducth giants after 19 minutes into the clash after connecting from the spot before he turned provider for Steven Bergwijn to slot home Ajax second goal of the match in the 32nd minute.

Two minutes later, the former FC Nordjaelland star found the back of the net again to make it 3-0 for Ajax after connecting from Steven Bergwijn pass.

Ajax went to recess with a three goal advantage in the much anticipated friendly at the Sportpark De Toekomst.

With no additional goal in the second half, Ajax have cruised to a win over the Ukrainian outfit.

The Black Stars asset enjoyed an amazing campaign last season, scoring 18 goals and providing 5 assists across competitions.

He will hope to maintain his top form in the upcoming campaign for the Dutch outfit.
