Ghana international Thomas Partey was in fine form when Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspurs in the North London derby to keep their Premier League ambition intact.

The Black Stars midfielder controlled the midfield as the Gunners cruised to a 3-2 win over their opponent in the week 35 clash on Sunday.

The Gunners opened the scoring in the 15th minute mark following an own goal from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg after a flamboyant start to the game.

In the 27th minute, the visitors scored to extend their lead in the game through England international Bukayo Saka after he was set up by German Kai Havertz.

The Germany international then turn provider to scorer after netting the Gunners third goal in the 38th minute mark to seal victory.

Arsenal went to the halftime break with a three goal lead in the crucial game played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But the host managed to reduce the deficit in the second half through Cristian Romero and Heung-Min Son.

Romero pulled one back in the 64th minute before Son scored another equalizer in the 87th minute mark from the spot.

Partey has been limited to 11 Premier League appearances due to injuries.
