Ghana star Thomas Partey urged to join Manchester United should Arsenal suffer relegation

Manchester United fans have made a passionate appeal to Thomas Partey to join the club should Arsenal suffer relegation.

Mikel Arteta and his charges are under pressure for churning out poor results.

Arsenal are sitting 15th in the table after 12 games played, just five points ahead of Fulham in the bottom three.

The Gunners were defeated by Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, their fourth home defeat of the season already, increasing pressure on the shoulders of Arteta.

Despite their current situation, it's extremely unlikely that Arsenal will suffer relegation from England's top division to the disappointment of United fans.

However, supporters believe stranger things have happened and have jokingly backed United to make a move for Partey if they are condemned to the Championship.

United did suffer defeat against Arsenal at Old Trafford earlier this season after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a penalty.

Partey joined the Premier League side this summer from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth 40 million pounds.

The 27-year-old is currently nursing an injury.
