Head coach of the Black Stars, Avram Grant will welcome his players to begin preparations for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Gabon next month on Wednesday December 28.
Grant has most of his players based outside Ghana and with most of them on Christmas holidays; they are expected to come together for a nonresidential camping in Accra on Wednesday ahead of the tourney.
Ghana has failed to lift the ultimate gong at stake at the Africa Cup of Nations since 1982 and will be hoping to return to winning was under the tutelage of the Israeli who is expected to release his squad for the tournament by Monday.
