Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo plays full throttle to help Bristol City to beat Preston 2-1

Ghana international, Antoine Semenyo was in action for his Bristol City side on Wednesday evening and put up a good performance that helped his team to secure a 2-1 win against Preston.

The talented youngster on the matchday started for his team and lasted the entire duration of the contest.

On the back of a goalless first half, Robert Atkinson equalized with a fantastic effort in the 54th minute to open the scoring for the hosts.

Late into the game, an Andrew Hughes strike in the 82nd minute restored parity for Preston and offered the team hope of earning a point.

It was however not meant to be. In injury time, Robert Atkinson found the back of the net again for his second of the evening.

That goal sealed a 2-1 win for Bristol City as the home team celebrated a very important win.

Gradually, Antoine Semenyo has regained his full fitness and now looks set to be part of Ghana’s next assignment in November before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
