Ghana striker Boakye Yiadom hit a brace as Red Star Belgrade win in Europa qualifier

Ghana striker Richard Boakye Yiadom scored a brace to help new side Red Star Begrade to a smooth win against Maltese side Floriana in the UEFA Europa qualifiers on Thursday.

The striker who signed a three year deal with the club repaid them by starting off brightly.

He scored the first of his brace in the first half after Nemanja Milic was fouled in the box.

The Serbian side got their second through Slavoljub Srni after some good play involving Richmond Boakye Yiadom.

The 23 year old who was top scorer for the side last seson when he was on loan from Latina scored the third to seal victory for Red Star at home.

They will travel to Malta next for the second league.
