Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena played his first game for F C Zurich on Wednesday night after his failed move to English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Black Stars striker who was diagnosed with a heart problem while having his medicals at Brighton after agreeing personal terms with the club, stepped out of the dug-out to replace Roberto Rodriguez as his F C Zurich side nicked a 1-1 draw at Lausanne Sport.

English Premier League newcomers Brighton cancelled out a deal to sign the £10 million rated striker after he failed medicals in a reported heart problem.

The Ghanaian returned to the Swiss side but had to undergo further checks and medication to make him available to return to action.

Dwamena is looking to put the trauma of the past weeks behind him after impressing in his cameo appearance for the club.

The unfortunate incident saw him miss out on Ghana’s double header World Cup qualifiers against Congo.

The forward has two international goals to his credit after bagging a brace on his debut for the Black Stars of Ghana.
