Ghana talent Jonathan Agyekum has powered Brondby U19 to a narrow win over Copenhagen U19 in the Denmark U19 League on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old scored after the hour mark to seal a one nil win for Brondby over their rivals in the evening of 1st May, 2024.

The first half of the game was a cagey one as both teams could not find the back of the net, leading to a goalless first 45 minutes.

But back from the break, Jonathan Agyekum scored the winning goal four minutes after the hour mark from a tight angle.

The Denmark born Ghanaian brought down a lobbed ball from the air before firing with his left foot into the near post to give his team all the three maximum points.

This season, Jonathan Agyekum has seven goals and two assists in seventeen games in the Danish U19 Boys League.

Agyekum is still eligible to play for both Ghana and Denmark as he has not represented any of the two countries yet.
