Ghana U-20 goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim dreams of playing in France

Ghana U-20 goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim has revealed that he would love to play in France.

The young shot-stopper has over the years developed into a fine goalkeeper and remains one for the future if he settles and plays regularly in any club.

Just last weekend, he was in post when the Black Satellites of Ghana defeated the Hippos of Uganda 2-0 to become Champions of the 2021 Total CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Speaking to Onua FM in an interview after returning with the team to Ghana, Danlad Ibrahim has opened up on his ambition to secure a transfer to Europe.

“My target is to play in Europe, like France and stuff. France is my favorite because there are many black goalkeepers there, and if you are there, you don’t hear any bad thing about goalkeepers there.

“So for me, it’s France that I am really interested in but as a professional footballer, you can’t say that you want a particular place so if you get a deal elsewhere you won’t go,” “Just as people are saying my next move is a loan deal, it can be the opposite, like going outside Ghana, so we are just praying, what God has said is the most important thing,” Danlad Ibrahim noted.

He is set to return to his parent club Asante Kotoko to prepare for the second round of the Ghana Premier League season. It is understood that his management is pushing for a move elsewhere so he can enjoy regular playing time.
