Black Meteors and Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Dan Lad Ibrahim is set to join Berekum Chelsea on a season-long loan in the on-going transfer window, according to reports.
Ibrahim has struggled to break into the starting line up of Kotoko despite gaining promotion from the youth side last season.
The 16-year-old shot himself into the spotlight following his impressive display for the Black Starlets at the Africa U-17 championship in Gabon in 2017.
Despite his mouthwatering performances, he has failed to gain more playing time at the Porcupine Warriors following the form of Black Stars goalie Felix Annan and the arrivals of Kwame Baah from Inter Allies and Osei Kwame.
A loan spell is seen as an opportunity to hand the goalkeeper first team opportunities.
The highly-rated shot-stopper was a member of the Black Meteors team at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt as they finished fourth after losing to South Africa on penalties.
