The Bafana Bafana of South Africa are in high spirit ahead of the team’s World Cup qualifying match against Zimbabwe on Friday, September 3, 2021.

Pitted in Group G of the African qualifiers, South Africa must deal with Zimbabwe and turn attention to facing a gingered Ghana Black Stars side.

Keen on amassing the three points from the game against Zimbabwe, the South African team has received words of encouragement from Danny Jordaan, who is the President of SAFA.

“The coach has all our (SAFA) support. We have hope again and we have newness in a team in terms of staff and new when I speak of the players, some of them are very young and already playing international football,” he said in a message to the team

The SAFA boss added, “What we will demand is qualification for the next AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) and the next World Cup and we have faith that we can manage that with the calibre of coach that we have.”

Meanwhile, Ghana will also tomorrow take on Ethiopia in the first match of the World Cup qualifiers.

That game will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 19:00GMT.
