Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah has revealed his outfit will not underrate Mauritania in their International friendly on Tuesday.

Ghana will welcome Mauritania to the Accra Sports Stadium after beating Kenya 1-0 on Saturday in the final 2019 Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) qualifier.

The 58-year-old believes there are no minnows in Africa football and Mauritania will give the Black Stars some competition in today’s game.

He also indicated that some players who couldn’t feature in Saturday’s game against Kenya will get to play in today’s game.

“Some of the players invited played against (Kenya) and the others who couldn’t play will get the chance to play on Tuesday against Mauritania", he told the media ahead of the game.

Meanwhile, Mauritania arrived in the country for the friendly game on Sunday.

Mauritania have also qualified for this year’s AFCON to be staged in Egypt in June for the first time.

The game will kick off at 4:30pm.

The former Ghana international is set to use the match to assess his players as he prepares to name his final squad for the AFCON.
