Ghana and Aston Villa winger has been named in the English Championship team of the week after inspiring Aston Villa to a 3-0 win over Barnsley on Sunday.
Albert Adomah scored a brace as Aston Villa beat Barnsley to earn only their second Championship win of the season.
The Ghanaian capitalised on a poor error by Tykes goalkeeper Adam Davies to tap into an empty net, before doubling Villa's lead from the spot after Keinan Davis was fouled.
Davis made it 3-0 after the break, heading home to spoil Barnsley's 130th anniversary celebrations at Oakwell.
Adomah who had been on the sidelines at the beginning of the season recovered and has been a key part of manager Steve Bruce’s side, following a string of three successive draws.
The winger has now increased his tally for the season to three out of four game, and will need to find the back of the net regularly to help Villa gain promotion back to the English Premier League.
