Ghana winger Albert Adomah set to sign new QPR contract

Ghana winger Albert Adomah is set to sign a new contract at English Championship side Queens Park Rangers (QPR).

Adomah joined QPR in 2020 after leaving Nottingham Forest on a two-year but his contract expires this summer and he has been in talks with the club about extending his time at Loftus Road.

The 34-yera-old is keen to stay and an agreement over a new contract appears at this stage to be fairly straightforward, although the incoming manager will have the final say on whether Adomah is retained.

The club is keen to appoint Aston Villa assistant manager Michael Beale as their new boss.

Last season, he made 38 appearances for QPR, scored two goals and provided four assists across all competitions.

Adomah has previously played for Barnet, Bristol City and Cardiff City.

He was part of the Black Stars squad at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil where Ghana suffered an early exit.
