Ghana winger Christian Atsu has missed out on Newcastle player for the month of August, after the fans voted Ciaran Clark as the best player for the month.
Atsu battled it out with Ciara Clark and Mikel Moreno. However, despite, his scintillating form the fans thaught otherwise.
Atsu made two assists and was outstanding for the team last month.
Clark was adjudged the best player ahead of Atsu and Clark.
Atsu has helped the club to two wins on the bounce after beating West Ham and Swansea City.
