Ghana international Christopher Antwi-Adjei has initiated talks with Belgium outfit Standard Liege over a possible transfer in the ongoing window, Footballghana.com understands.

The 30-year-old winger is currently without a club following the expiration of his contract at German outfit Bochum.

Both parties agreed to go their separate ways after the expiration his contract in the just ended season.

Antwi is expected to find himself a club before the commencement of the 2024/25 football season.

The former Black Stars winger arrived in Belgium on Tuesday to hold talks with Standard Liege over a possible move this summer.

Footballghana.com has learnt the 30-year-old is concluding talks to join the Belgian Jupiler Pro club after leaving Bochum.

The highly-rated winger will sign for Standard Liege if he is able to reach agreement with the club.

Last season, the pacey Ghanaian winger made 25 appearances for Bochum, who narrowly escaped relegation and scored two goals, providing 2 assists across the period.
