Ghana winger Fatawu Issahaku expresses displeasure as Leicester City settles for draw at Sheffield Wednesday

Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has poured out his frustration after Leicester City’s inability to secure victory against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Black Stars winger was handed a starting role when Sheffield hosted the Foxes in the week 18 clash of the English Champions on Wednesday.

Issahaku was on target for Leicester City, who are aiming for a swift return to the English Premier League but his side conceded at death to draw.

The winger connected in at the back post after controlling Stephy Mavididi’s cross with his chest to opening the scoring on 23 minutes to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.

When all thought Leicester were heading set to bag the points, Jeff Hendrick struck in injury time to split points.

After the game, the enterprising winger took to social media to express his disappointment following his sides stalemate.

“Not the results we wanted. Thank you all for your support” he wrote on Instagram sighted by Footballghana.com

Issahaku has two goals in 14 appearances so far this season.
