Ghana winger Fatawu Issahaku reacts after Leicester City’s crucial win over West Bromwich Albion

Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has shared his excitement after helping Leicester City to secure victory over West Bromwich Albion in the English Championship on Saturday.

The Black Stars winger lasted the entire duration as the Foxes cruised to a 2-1 win over their opponent at the King Power Stadium.

Issahaku, who is loan from Sporting Lisbon delivered an assist to help his side secure maximum points on home turf, as the battle for Premier League qualification continues.

After the game, the Ghana international took to social media to express his joy following his sides victory over their opponent.

“What a game lads. Great three points and we keep going” he wrote on Instagram sighted by Footballghana.com.

The Foxes shot into the lead in the 22nd minute when Wilfred Ndidi scored with a right-footed shot from close range, sending the ball to the high center of the goal.

In the 65th minute, Leicester striker Jamie Vardy headed in a goal from close range, with the assist coming from Abdul Fatawu's cross. This marked Issahaku's 11th assist of the season.

West Bromwich Albion's Jed Wallace scored in the 76th minute with a left-footed shot from the left side of the box, assisted by Cédric Kipré. However, it was not enough to overturn Leicester City's lead.

Issahaku has made 37 appearances this season, scoring three goals and assisting eleven in the Championship. Leicester City's next league game will be against Southampton.
