Ghana international Frank Acheampong has finally met Accra Lions co-owner, Lothar Mathaus.
The former Black Stars winger, who currently plies his trade in the Chinese Super League for Shenzhen FC now runs the Ghana Premier League club with the Germany football legend, who acquired a stake in the club this year.
Mathaus was unveiled as co-owner of the Ghanaian club in Accra in May 2023.
Acheampong took to social media to share his excitement after meeting the former World Cup winner.
The former Ghana youth star has been investing massively in the Premier League club years back as he aims develop football in Ghana.
Accra Lions will next face Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in the domestic league. They are unbeaten in their last four games and will hope to maintain their descent form against Hearts of Oak.
Acheampong is currently on holidays following the end of the Chinese Super League a fortnight ago.
