Ghana international Frank Acheampong scored on his Shenzhen Kaisa FC debut on Wednesday afternoon to inspire the side to defeat Henan Jianye 2-1 in the Chinese Super League.

The former RSC Anderlecht explosive winger joined Shenzhen FC earlier this month after ending a three-year stay in Tianjin TEDA where he established himself as one of the top players in the division.

On the opening weekend of the 2021 Chinese Super League campaign today, Frank Acheampong was handed his debut to operate from the flanks.

After 21 minutes of play into the first half at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium, the Black Stars asset scored with a fine effort after receiving a pass from Juan Quintero.

Although Mohamed Buya Turay will equalize to restore parity for Henan Jianye 10 minutes later, Frank Acheampong and his teammates fought to score through Alan Kardec later to eventually win 2-1 at the end of the 90 minutes.

On the matchday, Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso also marked his debut for new club Shenzhen FC.
