Ghana international Joseph Paintsil has arrived in the United State of America to complete his move to LA Galaxy, Footballghana.com can report.

The Major League Soccer outfit won the race to sign the Black Stars attacker ahead of other interested clubs.

Painstil has been a subject of interest for several clubs in Europe and in the MLS due to his swashbuckling performance for KRC Genk in Belgium.

The Black Stars winger is currently in Los Angeles to under his medical before putting pen to paper for the club.

The 26-year-old Ghanaian attacker will sign a four-year contract for LA Galaxy for a transfer fee around €9 million

The ex- Tema Youth star contributed 32 goals in 39 matches across competitions for Genk last season.

This season, he has eleven-goal involvements in 23 outings; having scored seven and registered four assists.
