Ghana international Joseph Paintsil has already begun training with new club LA Galaxy ahead of the commencement of the Major League Soccer.

Painstil finally sealed a move to the MLS outfit on Tuesday after ending his spell with Belgium giants KRC Genk.

The pacy winger signed a four-year contract with the club as a Designated Player for the new season.

The Black Stars winger was a subject of interest for several clubs in Europe but the MLS club beats off competition to secure his services.

Paintsil immediately joined his teammates to continue their preparation ahead of the start of the MLS this weekend.

LA Galaxy will face Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in the opening game of the MLS on Sunday, and the Ghana international could make his debut for his club.

Painstil enjoyed a decent career in Europe, where he won the Belgium league title once with KRC Genk. He scored 61 goals across 228 matches.

Galaxy are the most successful club in the MLS with five titles but have not won the championship since 2014.
