Ghana international, Osman Bukari climbed off the bench on Wednesday night to feature for Red Star Belgrade in the Uefa Champions League.

The winger and his team played against RB Leipzig today in a Round 3 encounter of Group G in this season’s Uefa Champions League campaign.

Before the game, Osman Bukari missed out on a starting role and had to watch from the bench.

At halftime, his services were needed as he was introduced to replace Nigeria striker Peter Olayinka.

Although the Black Stars forward would cause trouble for the defense of RB Leipzig, his team Red Star Belgrade suffered a 3-1 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.

The German Bundesliga club secured the win thanks to goals from David Raum, Xavi Simons, and Dani Olmo.

Red Star Belgrade netted the consolation goal through Marko Stamenic.

The defeat today means Red Star Belgrade stays bottom of Group G of the Uefa Champions League table.
