Ghanaian attacker Bernard Morrison wins Tanzanian Premier League title with Young Africans

Ghanaian international, Bernard Morrison has won the Tanzanian Premier League title at the end of the 2022/23 season.

The talented attacker and his Young Africans side have been a joy to watch in the Tanzanian top-flight league since the campaign commenced last year.

In a Round 30 encounter against Tanzania Prisons on Friday afternoon, Bernard Morrison and his teammates put up another impressive showing to bag all three points.

Young Africans in the game today led at halftime thanks to a strike from Fiston Mayele.

After recess, Tanzania Prisons did attempt to do a comeback but the visitors just had too much quality.

An injury-time equaliser from Yannick Bangala put the icing on the cake to give Young Africans a delightful 2-0 win.

With this being the last game of the season, Bernard Morrison and his Young Africans teammates have been crowned Champions of the 2022/23 league season.

The celebrations have immediately started and are expected to run through the night as fans enjoy another successful season.
