Ghana international Kamal Sowah displayed impressive form on Sunday afternoon to help his OH Leuven outfit to draw 2-2 against KV Mechelen in the Belgian Pro League.

The forward who is on loan at the club from Leicester City has been a key asset for the side and continues to play regularly.

Today, he was handed a starting role when his team visited the Argosstadion Achter de Kazerne grounds to take on the matchday opponent.

In a game that saw KV Mechelen taking the lead after 30 minutes into the first half, Kamal Sowah showcased his creativity 10th minute later as he assisted Casper de Norre to score to restore parity.

Later in the second half, the winger set up Siebe Schrijvers to score to give OH Leuven the lead for the first time in the game.

While it looked like the away team would go on to win, a penalty converted by Ferdy Druijf in the 80th minute forced the game to end in a 2-2 draw.

This season, Kamal Sowah has made 31 appearances in the Belgian Pro League and now has eight goals and five assists.

He has been invited by the Ghana national team and will be one of a handful of debutants that would be keen on marking their debut for the Black Stars in the international break.
