Dutch-born Ghanaian Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere has shared his excitement after netting his first goal for Zhejiang Professional in the Chinese Super League.

Owusu delivered an outstanding performance to help his side secure a 2-1 away win in the week 3 encounter.

“Happy to grab my first goal for the club and proud of the guys. Good fight and win”

The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw at the Wuhua Olympic Sports Center Huitang Stadium, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian attacker shot his side into the lead, three minutes into the second half but the visitors responded quickly after grabbing the equalizer in the 50th minute mark through Rooney Eva Wankewai.

Hong Kong international Nok-Hang Leung fired home Zhejiang Professional’s winning goal in the 74th minute mark.

The Ghanaian forward has now scored one goal in three appearances for Zhejiang Professional.

His contract with the club is expected to expire in December 2025.
