Ghanaian defender Abbey Agbodzie joins Albanian giants Skenderbeu

Ghanaian defender Abbey Agbodzie has completed a move to Albanian side Skenderbeu in the on-going winter transfer window.

The 19-year-old penned a two-year deal with the club after successful negotiations and passing his mandatory.

Agbodzie joins Skenderbeu from third-tier Ghanaian side Sportslife FC after an impressive trial stint in Albania.

He previously played for Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC before his move to Sportslife FC who transferred him to start his career in Europe.

His arrival increases the number of Ghanaian players at the club to five as several players from the West African country have impressed for them for the past two seasons.

They currently have Ghanaian players Emmanuel Essien, Alfred Mensah, Samuel Armah and Dennis Dowuona in their books.
