German third-tier side Dynamo Dresden has secured the services of German-born Ghanaian defender Dennis Duah for the 2024/25 season.

The towering central defender, standing at 1.90 meters, is set to make his move from Hamburger SV to Elbflorenz, bringing his robust style of play to the team.

Duah, currently a key player in Hamburger SV's second team, has already amassed a significant amount of playing experience despite his young age. Born on August 26, 2003, in Hagenow, Duah began his football journey at VfL Lohbrügge before moving to the youth department of FC St. Pauli and eventually joining the juniors of Hamburger SV.

David Fischer, Managing Director of Communications at SGD, expressed his enthusiasm about the new signing. "Dennis impresses with his athletic and robust style of play. With his speed and physical tackling, he can give our defense further stability. At 20 years of age, he already has a high level of playing experience and knows how to take on responsibility as a leader. In addition, he has considerable development potential, which we would like to further promote in the coming years," Fischer stated.

With 71 games under his belt for the HSV second team in the Regionalliga Nord, Duah has proven his mettle as a leader, captaining the Hanseatics this season. His addition to Dynamo Dresden is expected to bolster the team's defense and bring a fresh dynamic to their play.
