Ghanaian defender Edwin Tuffour Frimpong scored for Saint George to power the team to a narrow win over Ethiopia Electricity in the top flight.
The former Asante Kotoko player scored in the dying embers of the game as Saint George snatched a 1-0 win to stay at the top.
It was their second win of the new season following up from 7-1 thrashing of Ethiopian Insurance.
Saint George are currently sitting top of the table with six points after two games.
The Aradas will travel to Sidama Coffee to chest-it-down with them in their next top-tier game on October 13.
