Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng elated to help Bordeaux beat Dijon

Ghana and Girondins Bordeaux youngster Enock Kwateng has expressed his happiness after helping his side secure their first win of the 2019/20 season against Dijon.

Kwateng played his first competitive game for Bordeaux and registered an assist as they won 2-0 win at the Stade Gaston Gerard.

"A victory that does a lot of good!. Bravo the team. Thank you to the supporters of Bordeaux," he tweeted.

Bordeaux took an early lead courtesy Hwang Ui-Jo strike in the 11th minute of the game.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian provided an assist for the second goal finding Luis Benito after just two minutes into the second half.

The highly-rated defender lasted the entire duration of the game.

He joined Bordeaux from Ligue I side FC Nantes in the summer transfer window, however, he missed the opening two games of the season.

He has made one appearance and registered one assist for Bordeaux so far this season.
