Ghanaian international, Enock Kwateng has been served a one-match suspension and will not be available for selection this weekend when FC Girondins de Bordeaux returns to action.

The full-back was in action for his club last weekend when the team played against giants OSC Lille.

After just 35 minutes into the game, Enock Kwateng was sent off after he was shown a red card.

For that offence, he is now automatically suspended for FC Girondins de Bordeaux’s next match in the French Ligue 1 against FC Metz.

“A suspended game: Enock KWATENG (FC Girondins de Bordeaux),” a statement to confirm the suspension has said.

The Ghanaian’s absence will be a blow for FC Girondins de Bordeaux especially after proving to be a key asset for the team in the ongoing 2021/22 French Ligue 1 campaign.
