Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng was left satisfied with Bordeaux's 1-1 stalemate against Olympique Lyonnais in the French Ligue I on Saturday.

Kwateng lasted the entire duration of the game as The Navy blue-and-Whites secured a vital away point at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in their matchday fixture.

The 22-year old put up an incredible performance on his debut against Dijon with manager Paulo Souza handing him a starting berth against 5th-placed Lyon.

"Good point took outside! Encouraging for the future! Go Bordeaux," he posted on Social Media after the game.

Former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay gave Olympique Lyonnais the lead in the 31st minute of the game.

But Jimmy Briand equalised for the away side with 23 minutes left as the Girondins left the Lyon Parc with a point.

The highly-rated youngster joined Bordeaux on a four year deal from Ligue I rivals FC Nantes in the summer transfer window.

Kwateng is still eligible to play for Ghana despite representing France at U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19, and U-20 levels.
