Ghanaian full-back Jeremie Frimpong has expressed his excitement after scoring his first goal of the season for Celtic in their 5-1 win over Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premier League on Sunday.

Frimpong lasted for 86 minutes before being replaced by Elhamedat as the Hoops began their quest for a record 10th straight Scottish Premiership title.

Edouard tapped in Greg Taylor's cross before the Scotland left-back laid on another for Jeremie Frimpong to make 2-0.

Scott Martin's deflected strike halves the deficit for Hamilton, but Edouard added two more from close range after the recess.

And substitute Patryk Klimala capped a powerful attacking performance from Celtic, as he got on the end of a defence-splitting pass from Christopher Jullien to shoot low past Ryan Fulton.

Frimpong has made an impressive start to the new season, the same way he ended last term. The 19-year-old has scored one goal in one appearance for Celtic in the Premier League.
