Ghanaian defender John Boye scores to salvage point for Metz against Nice

Ghana defender John Boye scored to salvage point for his side, Metz against OGC Nice in the Ligue 1 on Saturday.

The 33-year-old put up an incredible performance to help side seal a point at the Stade Saint-Symphorien.

Aminé Gouiri opened the scoring for Nice in the 18th minute from the penalty spot.

However, 12 minutes from regulation time, Metz were awarded a corner kick which resulted in a goal mouth scramble and the Ghanaian popped up to finish exquisitely to snatch a point for the home team.

The goal is Boye’s first of the season, having made 17 league appearances this campaign for FC Metz who are 12th on the league table with 25 points from 19 matches.
