Danish-born Ghanaian defender Jonas Jensen-Abbew etched his name into FC Nordsjaelland's annals, as he clinched his maiden goal for the club.

The elation was visible as Jensen-Abbew's strike found the back of the net, marking a personal milestone and igniting a wave of celebration among teammates and fans alike.

In the Europa Conference League on Thursday night, 21-year-old Jonas Jensen-Abbew earned a rare starting spot against Spartak Trnava. He finished the game with a goal to make the score 1-0.

"I see the ball coming towards Lucas Hey and that he gets his head on it. Then I just slice it and watch it go in. We had a similar situation in training where I also get to score, so it was a bit of a rehearsed one," he said.

"It was my first goal in FC Nordsjælland, which feels absolutely fantastic. It's great to be able to come in and make a difference and help the team - that's the most important thing. I guess it was the perfect night for me, so I can't ask for much more," he added.
