The MLS outfit officially began its offseason wheels in motion on Monday, welcoming back head coach Jim Curtin and announcing a set of roster moves.

The 24-year-old didn't have options picked up after two seasons with the Unions.

Philadelphia Union are down to 17 players on their active roster for 2019.

The defender moved to the United States on a scholarship to attend Cate School in Carpinteria, California where he played soccer. Yaro played three years of college soccer at Georgetown University between 2013 and 2015.

While at college, he also appeared for Premier Development League side Baltimore Bohemians in 2014.

Yaro was selected 2nd overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Philadelphia Union.

He made his professional debut with Bethlehem Steel FC, starting in a 1–0 win over FC Montreal.

He earned his U.S. green card in July 2017. This status also qualifies him as a domestic player for MLS roster purposes.

Yaro made six appearances and four starts for the first team last season and 17 appearances and 15 starts his rookie year after being selected second overall out of Georgetown University by the Union in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.
