The Black Stars center-back is currently playing on loan with German Bundesliga club after switching from TSG Hoffenheim.

After missing Fortuna Düsseldorf’s opening match of the season last weekend, he was given a run in the team’s squad that engaged lower division side TuRU in a friendly yesterday.

The top-flight side emerged as 4-2 winners with Kasim Nuhu Adams being amongst the scorers.

Fortuna Düsseldorf took a two-goal lead just 10 minutes into the match. Dawid Kownacki opened the scoring before defender Kasim Nuhu added a second.

A third from Adam Bodzek later in the game compelled the away side to up their game before they pulled one back through Saban Ferati.

Ayas scored a second to make it 3-2 but a strike from Adam Bodzek cemented the victory for the Bundesliga side.

Following a good performance on the day, Kasim looks likely to get a start when Fortuna Düsseldorf take on Bayern Leverkusen at the Esprit Arena next weekend.
