Ghanaian defender Kasim Nuhu trains with Fortuna Düsseldorf amid COVID-19 pandemic

Ghana international Kasim Nuhu joined a host of Fortuna Dusseldorf players to resume training for the first time since the season was suspended amid the coronavirus crisis.

Nuhu was among the five groups that trained without any contact as a precautionary measure to help curb the spread of the deadly virus.

Düsseldorf worked in small groups as they keep their players fit ahead of league resumption.

The 24-year-old is currently recovering from an injury he sustained at training before the league was suspended.

Having continued training at home while in isolation, Nuhu has made progress and is close to making full recovery before football activities resume fully.

German authorities are allowing the top-flight clubs to train but in groups as they continue to monitor the situation on the groups.

If things improve in the next couple of weeks, it will not be long when the season will season.

Meanwhile, the Ghanaian is expected to return to his parent club TSG Hoffenheim at the end of the 2019/20 season.
