Ghana and Southampton youngster Kevin Danso was shown a red card as they held Manchester United to a 1-1 stalemate in the English Premier League on Saturday.
Danso was red-carded in the 73rd-minute moments after registering an assist for the Saints equalizer at the St Mary's Stadium.
The on-loan defender, who was making his second appearance for the Saints was cautioned in the 19th minute after a foul on Andreas Pareira. His second caution came in the 73rd after a heavy tackle on Scot McTominay.
The 20-year-old was rock solid in defence for Southampton who needed Jannik Vestergaard's towering header to earn a point against the Red Devils.
Wales international Daniel James gave Manchester United the lead in the 10th minute of the game.
Vestergaard scored in the 58th minute after a spell of pressure from the Saints.
The draw means Southampton have picked up four points after four games in the 2019/20 Premier League season.
