Ghana international Rashid Sumaila was in action for Al Qadsiya as they thump Al Tadhamon 3-0 in the Kuwaiti league opener on Sunday night.
Al Qadsiya took the lead through Naser Al Rashidi in the 17th minute before Lucas Gaucho doubled their lead in the 67th minute of the game.
Ahmed Al Dhefiri bagged the third goal in injury-time to secure a convincing victory over Al Tadhamon at the Mohammed Al Hamad Stadium.
The 26-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game as his side picked up the maximum points.
The former Asante Kotoko returned to Al Qadsiya in the summer after spending a season on loan in Serbia at Red Star Belgrade, where he helped them win the Serbian SuperLiga.
