Ghanaian defender Steffen Nkansah set to join Eintracht Braunschweig

German-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Stefan Nkansah is set to re-join Eintracht Braunschweig in the on-going transfer window.

Nkansah helped the club to secure promotion to the German 2. Bundesliga following his exploits last season, where he made 23 appearances and scored two goals.

The 24-year-old left the club following the expiration of his contract after both parties failed to reach an agreement

According to SPORTSworldGhana.com, the Ghanaian has been contacted by the officials of Braunschweig for a possible return to the team he left this summer.

The report further stated that a two-year deal has been tabled by the club to the player pending the defender's signature to the make the deal official.

Nkansah, who can play in the middle of the park joined the club in 2017 as a 21-year old from the second team of German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach.
