Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey earns Chelsea U23 late draw against Tottenham Hotspur

Ghanaian prodigy Tariq Lamptey scored a late equaliser for Chelsea U-23 side as they drew 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur on Friday evening.

Lamptey, who is highly-regarded at the Chelsea academy put up an impressive performance to seal a vital point for the young Blues against their London rivals.

Chelsea conceded early into the game courtesy Patterso’s low finish for Spurs.

The young Blues fell 2-0 behind in the 20th minute as Tottenham Hotspur scored from the penalty spot after the Ghanaian was judged to have fouled Tracey in the penalty box.

Clinton Mola pulled one back for Chelsea in the 71st minute before Tariq Lamptey bagged s superb equaliser for the hosts in the closing stages of a keenly contested game.
